The objectives of this Programme are to prepare a candidate to appear for the examinations of and Phase II of the Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate of a Foreign-going Ship.
- Duration : 3 Months
- Reference : STCW 2010 Circular No11 of 2012
- Training towards : Chief Mate phase I certification
- Seafarer holding a 2nd Mate COC of foreign going ship with 18 months sea service in FG ships of 500 GT or more
- Applicant who have completed Phase-I.

- Phase I certificate
- COC as 2nd Mate (FG)

- 18 months Sea Service record after 2nd Mate COC
